It was March 2008. I had just finished conducting a personal, financial audit.
To my dismay, I was $150,000 in debt. Things had gotten out of hand, as I was clueless to the financial peril, I was in.
Words cannot describe how disgusted I was. I’m supposed to be taking care of my family, and it’s anything but.
INEXCUSABLE! I needed to eliminate debt (and fast).
For me, offering basketball camps was the answer.
I started out running summer basketball camps. I followed-up by delivering year-round basketball camps. The year-round camps piggybacked off each other. These camps ran parallel with the typical, 10-month school year.
After the first year, significant progress was made towards debt reduction.
Four years later, I was debt-free.
Could you use additional, supplemental income for debt reduction (or anything else)? If so, maybe running basketball camps is in your immediate future.
